Graphic Art
Poorly scanned pages from two different newspapers were combined and contrast was corrected. The Gazette masthead was put in place over the existing New York Times masthead. Large, distracting, and poorly scanned pictures on the original pages had to be covered with new pictures and additional text, copied from other newspapers.
From "The Light in the Piazza". Archival pages were found online and contrast was corrected. Photos were replaced with period photos and a new headline was written to cover photos and headline from major world events.

From "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing". The main character's little brother swallowed his pet turtle, so I found an x-ray of a turtle and a human torso online and combined them.

Freelance, Volunteer, and Personal Projects
The LA Episcopal Cursillo, a leadership organization, asked me to create a flyer to put in packets for members attending a retreat. The rooster is a major symbol of Cursillo, so I created the image by combining and manipulating images I found online of a rooster, a computer, and the Facebook logo.
In the 2012 election, some friends of mine weren't satisfied with the selection of LGBT shirts offered by the Obama campaign, so I designed this by combining the Obama logo with the LGBT Bear flag and the paw print.
I needed an invitation for an annual New Year's Day party. This was designed to be printed on an 8.5" x 11" sheet and cut into fours.
The full-page version of the party invitation two years later. Image found online.

St. George's Episcopal Church wanted a series of images to promote their new Mission Statement to the congregation. I took images of the church and grounds, adjusted color as needed and added the Mission Statement.
On this image I removed the words "& Academy" from the signage because the church's school had closed.
I made this for a friend who is a big fan of the musical "Hamilton". Cake, party hat, balloons, and text added to production photo from the New York production.
A friend requested this for his wife after they had their first child.
